The Blademage is a base class that draws significant inspiration from various animes. The art of blademagic on Kaylira was developed by the High Elves, though  many have stumbled onto the path by instinct alone.

As the religious leader of a sleeping goddess's followers, Telare Moonblade faces significant challenges on a daily basis. But lurking within her own veins resides a threat to her city far more insidious than the demonic hordes arrayed beyond the watchtowers. Telare Moonblade has been a devout cleric of Lavayn for the better part of her nearly 200 years. Telare has stubbornly continued to study the divine arts, even though worshipers of Lavayn have been unable to undertake Divine Quests to access higher level spells since her fall. As the de facto political head of the guardian elves, subjects of disagreement, large and small, often bring her into heated debate with the high elven custodians. Amongst those disagreements is the prohibition the high elven Prince Iaurath and the elder council have decreed forbidding active attempts to awaken the sleeping goddess. Telare quietly encourages a trusted group of her priestesses and sympathetic druids to pursue research on that very subject, hoping a viable plan of action may change the council's minds.

Like most guardian elves, Telare devotes a lot of time to maintaining her physical fitness. Despite the friction she faces when dealing with many of the high elves, she has sought tutoring from the ranks of high elven martial arts masters of the sword. Her pursuit of this expressive art carries with it typical elven perfectionism, pushing her form and style without crossing into her divine training for shortcuts. Against an honorable opponent, augmenting herself magically for the sake of victory is out of the question.

Telare's heart belongs to her slumbering goddess. Much of the blood that heart pumps, however, bears a passed on curse of vampirism from the dark recesses of her family tree. Neither of her parents exhibited any signs of the curse, either never having consumed blood to awaken the dormant powers or all the traits being completely recessive in them. Clearly, Telare does exhibit passive signs of her heritage, ones present even when a half vampire, or more properly a dhampyr, has consumed no humanoid blood. Her incredible reflexes and senses have caused more than one companion to be at an utter loss for words, and her exceptional raw ability has allowed her to master disparate fields with relative ease. Though she has never realized anything special is going on, even her brachiation-like sure-footedness in the treetops comes far too naturally. Telare Moonblade may be completely devoted to her goddess and her followers, but the demands of her own blood may betray them all.

Telare Moonblade (brief summary): Female dhampyr guardian elf, Cleric of Lavayn 11/Rogue 1/Elven Weapon Expert 5; CR 19; medium monstrous humanoid (elf); SA Blood Drain, Art of Swordplay Basics, Agile Style; SQ Spider Climb, Fast Healing 1, Blood Requirement, Restless; Al CG; Str 16 Dex 22 Con 20 Int 18 Wis 18 Cha 20.

Bonus Feats: Alertness, Combat Reflexes, Dodge, Improved Initiative and Lightning Reflexes.

Blood Requirement: If Telare Moonblade ever consumes humanoid blood, the number and extent of supernatural special attacks and qualities she might benefit from are unknown. After a week without meeting the blood requirement to power such potential abilities they would fade.

Restless: If Telare Moonblade is ever slain, her vampiric blood will reanimate her as a chaotic evil elven vampire within 1d4 days. Compounding the fact that few if any realize she bears the curse of vampirism, preventing this occurrence would require destroying her body in method specific to the kind of vampire she will animate as, as even powerful magic that would normally prevent the animation of undead is unable to intervene to save a slain dhampyr.

Spells: Telare may not prepare any spells of a level higher than 3rd level, though she may prepare lower level spells in the slots available.
